The state of a qubit can be represented as:
_0|0 + _1|1 _0 and _1 are complex numbers that specify the probability amplitudes of the states.
|_0|2 gives the probability that you will find the qubit in the off (0) state; |_1|2 gives the probability that you will find the qubit in the on (1) state.
