Resources for CCS 109
Computing Concepts: Creative Machines?
Lee Spector
Files from class, etc.:
-
Lee's Lisp Lectures
-
The Listener window from the September 19,
1997 class. Although this may contain interesting tidbits remember that
a lot of the context is missing -- for example, you'll see the results
of the evaluation of forms that were in other windows (so you'll see only
the results of these, not the forms themselves). Etc.
-
Some code for simple color drawing in MCL:
mcl-color-draw.lisp, and an extension
for ovals, mcl-color-draw-ovals.lisp.
A more recent, slightly improved version of all of this:
mcl-color-draw-2.lisp.
-
WWW/JavaScript/Java/cgi examples:
-
Materials from the class on
Data Structures in Lisp.
-
The file of ideas for projects
from the 1996 version of CCS 109. Remember that the current course
is different in several ways (for example, last year we used C rather
than Lisp).
-
The string-to-list code developed
in class on October 15.
-
A simple Lisp utility for
text-based menus.
-
Jeffrey Brown's INHERIT-GET function
for property lists with inheritance.
An informal list of links that may be of interest to the
class (e-mail me any additional links and I'll add them):
