- To celebrate the release of my book, Sonic Flux: Sound, Art, and Metaphysics, The Kitchen is hosting an evening of conversation and performances. Turntablist Maria Chavez and electronic composer Jake Meginsky will perform solo sets. Artist Aura Satz will discuss the book with me. The event is free and begins at 7pm on November 3, 2018 at The Kitchen, New York City. (The whole event is documented here.)
- In association with the Artist's Institute, I organized a 50th anniversary performance of Hollis Frampton's "A Lecture", featuring a new reading of the text by artist Lucy Raven and a post-performance discussion with filmmaker Bill Brand. The performance will take place in the same room in which Frampton presented it in 1968: Hunter College, East Building, Room 1604, 921 Lexington Ave, New York City. Friday, Nov. 2, 2018, 6:30pm.
